The blizzard of economic data will slow this week but in its place will be central bank meetings - the Bank of England, the European Central Bank and the Reserve Bank of Australia. The Bank of Canada will announce its rate decision as well. None are expected to change their current policymaking interest rates of 4 percent, 3.75 percent, 4.25 percent and 2.0 percent, respectively.
A note on the completion of the currency conversion to the euro - the last day that national currencies were legal tender was February 28. There remains a significant amount of the national currencies that have yet to be redeemed - certainly it all isn't being kept as souvenirs.
