The Resource Center provides investors with the tools they need to make
informed and strategic investment decisions. Each of the sections provides a
variety of information or a different way of analyzing the data. For
instance, the Chart Room summarizes economic conditions on a monthly basis
primarily by describing conditions in chart format. Brief comments are
attached. This allows investors a quick look at the economy.
The Fed Watching section focuses on the Federal Reserve and its impact on
the economy. The Federal Reserve determines interest rate levels which
affect economic growth and stock prices. This section describes the Fed, the
officials and the institutions as well as providing us with a capsule view
of what policy makers find important.
Econoday articles cover the globe. Indeed, weekly articles are written about
the domestic economy (Simply Economics) as well as global conditions
(International Perspectives). These articles summarize weekly economic
indicators, events as well as market updates in an easy-to-read format. A
monthly article, Focal Point, covers an indepth look at the "topic of the
month."
Event definitions provide investors with information about market moving
indicators as well as regularly scheduled events.
All in all, the center provides information in various formats so that
investors can find the information format best suited to their needs.
