Investors ignore economic recovery |

| Economic data was more favorable than not this week, but market players were mostly pessimistic. Finally on Friday, perhaps because it was the end of the week and investors could take a two-day rest, markets turned around, helped in part by friendly manufacturing data. While equity prices declined this week, Treasury prices rallied. |
