Jobs drop but not stocks

Several economic indicators, with the exception of the employment situation, revealed signs of economic recovery. As a result, bond prices fell and yields rose. The Dow Jones Industrials passed the 10,000 mark and the Nasdaq composite index the 2000 mark. Stocks barely budged following the employment report, which showed continued weakness in the labor market though November's damage was less severe than October.
